Summary: It's been 3 years, and Nazna, fed up with Gamma's inability to find the rings on his own, sends him a not so new partner. But people change, and Gamma and his crew are about to find that out for themselves firsthand.

"What do you mean, you haven't found it!!" Nazna shrieked into the phone. On the other end of the line, Gamma held the receiver at arms length, head tilted to the side as he listened with dread to the tirade being aimed directly at him. Finally, when the sound died down somewhat, after several long, drawn out minutes, he lifted the phone to his ear enough to speak.

"I already told you," he began calmly.

"When we got there, we couldn't find it. We searched the place form top to bottom, nothing. N.O.T.H.I.N.G. Nothing."

His only reply was a long, loud, angry growl, before a loud bang had him rubbing his ears as he put down the received, and wondering just how many phones Nazna had gone through that month.

"Incompetent…annoying…little…" Nazna continued her grumbled tirade as she stormed down a long, twisting spiral staircase, the stone steps leading deeper and deeper into the earth, until she finally banged open the fortified metal door at the bottom.

She was greeted by a familiar room, and as the other woman stood, and turned to her, Nazna felt a now equally familiar shiver of fear run down her spine.

"This had better be good, Nazna."

"But why does she have to take it out one ME?" Gamma whined to Smith, taking another swig from his glass, before slamming down the water with an annoyed glare, causing the liquid to slosh up over the rim. Several more moments of swearing on Gamma's part passed before the two men could resume their conversation, after Gamma had dried his hands on his coat.

The duo was currently sitting in the pub/bar like area in the lobby of their hotel, complaining to each other about life, which was mostly Gamma ranting about Nazna.

Gamma suddenly started, head turning to stare out the window, eyes fixed on the street.

He could have sworn that he heard the roar of a motorcycle's engine.

A cloud of dust, kicked up form the dirt road, was the only things left of her passage through the desert.

"Something wrong, Gamma?" asked Smith, waving a hand nonchalantly in front of Gamma's nose, leaning forward to stare unnervingly into his partner's face. The silver haired man started, before smacking Smith upside the head.

"Don't do that!" he yelled, attracting stares from the surrounding patrons, and glares from the bartender. Smith rubbed his aching skull.

"You didn't have to hit me," he said. Gamma only glared at him.

"You didn't have to be in my face!" he retorted.

As the two continued to argue, a figure pushed her way through the hotel lobby doors, and began walking towards the bar. Catching sight of the silver haired man, she smirked, before making her way easily towards them.

She stopped right behind Gamma.

"Long time no see, Gamma Akutabi." she said. Said addressed man froze, eyes wide as he recognized the voice, and slowly turned to stare at the woman standing behind him.

"Wolfina," he whispered.
